Michelle Smith
Michelle Smith is a professional educator and a former Head of School. She is a pilot who decided to launch this premier flight school after observing the incredible transformation that occurs when people learn to fly. She oversees the management and operations of the academy.
Jakob Carter
Jakob Carter is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and serves as a CFII for Untethered Aviation at the Sedona, AZ location. He has vast experience flying in this area and has always called the Sedona-Oak Creek Airport home. Jakob is passionate about flying and is committed to instructing aspiring aviators to become the safest pilots.
Michael Wolford
Michael Wolford is a retired corporate jet pilot. He began his career as a hang glider pilot, transitioned to sailplanes and eventually became a power plane pilot. Mike has over 40 years of experience flying and instructing. Committed to all things “aviation”, Mike is thrilled to train students on the path to meet their aviation goals.
